City of Gaithersburg to Host ‘Be Your Best Fest’ in May (Free For All Ages)

The City of Gaithersburg is hosting Casey Community Center’s Be Your Best Fest, a fun, free, family friendly community event with performances, games, activities, information tables, crafts, giveaways, and more! Be Your Best Fest celebrates everything that encourages us to live our best lives & be our best selves. There will be fun activities for the whole family.

The festival will take place on Saturday, May 7, 2022 from 1:00-3:00 pm and is free for all ages. It will take place at the Casey Community Center, located at 810 South Frederick Avenue, Gaithersburg, MD 20877 (on Route 355 just off interstates 370 and 270). Register for the free event below.

Be Entertained…Enjoy performances from local musicians, theater groups, poets from DiVerse Gaithersburg, jugglers, and even a special princess.

Be Informed…Stop by one of the many information tables to learn about local services available. Tables may include Montgomery County Public Library, the City of Gaithersburg Community Services Department, ArtStream, Maryland Legal Aid, EveryMind, Outreach Recovery, Diabetes Education with Nexus Montgomery, SMYAL and more.

Be Active…Check out the many offerings from Gaithersburg’s Department of Parks, Recreation & Culture. Learn more about summer camps, recreation classes, Casey Community Center, Aquatics, Mini Golf, the Benjamin Gaither Senior Center, and more.

Be Creative…Create a unique themed craft and participate in our Be Your Best Fest community art project.

Be Relaxed…Take a break from the action to enjoy the soothing sounds of crystal singing bowls in our relaxing and meditative sound bath area provided by TT Sound Shala. Or explore the Sensory Retreat area with fidgets and toys to expand learning, experience stress relief and regain focus.

Be Nourished…Check out Two Smooth Dudes food truck, who will be selling their famous smoothies, wraps, salads, and gourmet tater tots!
