Detectives Continue to Investigate Ongoing String of Burglaries

The investigation by detectives has determined that between the hours of 6 a.m. to approximately 4:30 p.m., beginning in December of 2021, through April 28, 2022, an unknown male suspect has been using an unknown tool to gain entry into numerous sheds and detached garages throughout the area of Burtonsville, Laurel and Spencerville. Once inside, the suspect steals property, prior to fleeing the scene.

Investigators believe that the burglaries are committed by the same suspect.
