Mount Airy will be hosting a fireworks event on July 3rd. The event will take place at the Mount Airy Carnival Grounds, located at 1008 Twin Arch Rd. Per the Facebook event page: “We are looking forward to seeing you again this year for our fireworks event on July 3rd!!! Here are all the things you need to know:
*Gates open at 4:00 (strictly enforced)
*Live music by Day Drinkin’ from 5-9:00
*Fireworks will be as soon as it’s dark. APPROXIMATE time is around 9:30
*Coolers and food are allowed
*Grills are NOT allowed
*There will be food vendors with wide variety of options
*NO animals are permitted
*The event and parking are FREE
*Bring a food donation for the Mt Airy Net foodbank
*There is no mask requirement
*There will be NO LAST MINUTE cancellations due to rain”
