The school district also has an established, long-standing response protocol to support MCPS students and families in crisis. District leaders, when notified, will immediately connect mental health providers to any MCPS student in need of services. These supports come from partnerships with DHHS, the county Crisis Center and other county mental health clinicians through established agreements.
