Per MCPD: Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – 2nd District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s assistance in locating a missing 82-year-old man from Potomac.
Hwa Hyun Woo was last seen on Tuesday, December 27, 2022, at approximately 7:38 p.m., in the 15500 block of Frederick Rd. in Rockville. Woo is approximately 5-feet, 5-inches tall and weighs 120 pounds. He has black and white hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing dark clothing. He sometimes wears glasses. Woo is driving a silver 2001 Honda Accord with Maryland tags JBP398.
Maryland State Police have issued a Silver Alert for Woo. Police and family are concerned for his welfare. Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Hwa Hyun Woo is asked to call the police non-emergency number at (301) 279-8000 (24-hour line) or the 2nd District Investigative Section at 240-773-6710.
