Montgomery County Police are investigating a fatal collision that occurred near Laytonsville at approximately 2:40 a.m. on Saturday, February 18, 2023. According to MCPD, “The preliminary investigation indicates that the driver of a Chevrolet Suburban was traveling east on Golf Estates Drive near Sand Trap Drive when the adult male drove off the left side of the road and struck a tree. The driver was pronounced dead at the scene.
The Montgomery County Department of Police, Collision Reconstruction Unit is investigating this collision. The name of the deceased will be released following proper notification of next of kin.”
