Two Sixteen-Year-Olds Arrested for Robbery; Ghost Gun and Large Amount of Fentanyl Pills Found in Suspect’s Vehicle

The investigation by detectives revealed that the juvenile victim was at the McDonalds when he was approached by two juvenile suspects, who demanded his shoes. When the victim refused, he was punched in the face and his shoes were stolen. Then, the suspects left the scene in a Honda SUV.

A short time later, officers from the 4th District Community Action Team and Special Assignment Team observed the suspects leaving John F. Kennedy High School and get in the SUV from the robbery. Officers conducted a traffic stop of the vehicle and observed items that were stolen from the robbery. Officers also located a privately manufactured gun, also known as a “ghost gun,” and a large quantity of fentanyl pills. The two juvenile suspects were taken into custody.

The 16-year-old female suspect was transported to the 4th District station, where she was released to her mother.
The 16-year-old male suspect was transported to the Central Processing Unit, where he was charged as an adult.
