Montgomery County Police have arrested and charged 28-year-old Alexander Cleveland Hailey of White Oak in connection with an assault and kidnapping involving a Lyft driver in Silver Spring.
Montgomery County Police have arrested 58-year-old Melesse Semegne of Silver Spring and charged him in connection with a sexual assault investigation. Detectives with the Special Victims Investigations Division believe there may be additional victims and are urging anyone with information to come forward.
A federal judge has sentenced 21-year-old Erik Lee Madison of Halethorpe, Maryland, to 30 years in prison followed by lifetime supervised release for sexually exploiting minors and cyberstalking. U.S. District Judge Matthew J. Maddox also ordered Madison to pay $3,000 in restitution. According to federal prosecutors, Madison sexually exploited at least 10 minor female victims. (more…)
