Mt. Airy To Hold 10th Annual Fireworks Display on July 3rd

Mt. Airy will hold its 10th annual Independence Day celebration and fireworks display on Monday, July 3rd at 1008 Twin Arch Rd. The event will feature a band playing from 5:00pm – 9:00pm and food vendors on site with “lots of food options.” Anyone attending is able to bring their own coolers with food and drink as well. It is advised to bring chairs, blankets, or pop-up tents, but grills and pets are not allowed. The event is free, but a donation to the Mt. Airy Food Bank will be accepted. FAQ can be seen below.

Q – Is there cost for entry?
A – No the event is FREE

Q – Is there a cost to park?
A – No, parking is free

Q – Can I bring my own cooler with food and drink?
A – Yes with whatever you’d like to bring (but no grills)​

Q – Can I enter before 4:00 to drop things off?
A – No there will be no entry at all prior to 4:00

Q – Will I be required to wear a mask and social distance?
A – No

Q – What time will the fireworks be?
A – Usually right around 9:30 after the sun has set completely (Please note this is not an exact time)

Q – Can I bring my dog?
A – No.  We love pets but not here.  Many dogs are also very afraid of fireworks.
