Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded to a call for a fire at the Farmingdale Condos on Chalet Dr, off of Great Seneca Highway, Farmingdale Condos, in Germantown at approximately 2am on Thursday morning. The fire was contained to stand alone trash enclosure. There were no injuries and the fire was quickly extinguished. The trash enclosure will likely need to be replaced.
According to MCFRS Chief Spokesperson Pete Piringer, “~2a 18000blk Chalet Dr, off Great Seneca Hwy, fire involved stand alone trash enclosure (for complex), No injuries or extension beyond structure. @mcfrs PE722, PE729, PE734, PE731, PE708, T734, T731, RS729, A722, BC705, BC703 & others responded for reported bldg fire”
