Police Respond to Shooting Between Two Groups in Montgomery Village

Montgomery County Police responded to a shooting on Saturday, June 24 in Montgomery Village. According to MCPD, “At approximately 12:45 p.m., 6th District officers responded to the 18700 block of Walkers Choice Road for multiple calls of shots fired.  According to witnesses, two groups of individuals began shooting at one another near the pool.  A dark colored sedan drove away with an unknown number of occupants, and a separate group ran towards a wooded area in the direction of Boysenberry Drive.
6th District officers secured the area and Montgomery County Police K-9 responded. Multiple shell casings were found at the scene. There are no reports of injuries and there are no suspects in custody at this time.” We will post an update when additional information becomes available.
