An arrest was made on Monday morning stemming from an incident that closed Greentree Rd. in Bethesda and involved heavy police presence for several hours overnight. According to Police, “MCPD responded to the 6500 block of Greentree Road for the report of a domestic-related assault. Two adult victims were transported to area hospitals with non-life threatening but serious injuries. The suspect has been taken into custody. There is no threat to the community at this time.”
Earlier this morning, Montgomery County Police tweeted that it was on scene investigating the report of a domestic-related assault in the 6500 block of Greentree Rd at 5:05am. Police had been on the scene since shortly after midnight early Monday morning. At 5:20am, police announced the suspect was arrested. We will provide updates when more information is made available.
