Earlier this year we let you know that Downtown Silver Spring landed two major tenants with Uniqlo (scheduled to open Friday, per Google) and Golds Gym signing on.
Gold’s Gym will be taking over 25,000 SF space that was occupied by Washington Sports Club until Fall 2020. While it was initially expected to open in 2023, a representative from the recently opened Germantown location has let us know that a late 2023/early 2024 opening is now in the cards.
Gold’s Gym will also be opening in a 24,000 square-foot space in nearby Georgetown, that’s scheduled for later this year. The gym recently announced the upcoming closure of its Gaithersburg location.
