Bomb Threat at Kennedy High School Determined Not Valid

11:18AM UPDATE: The bomb threat at Kennedy High School has been determined not valid. The school is no longer in shelter in place.
10:04AM UPDATE: Kennedy High School has transitioned from lockdown to a shelter in place.
Kennedy High School at 1901 Randolph Rd in Wheaton-Glenmont is currently in lockdown due to a bomb threat. Montgomery County Police tweeted the following at 9:34am on Tuesday, August 29: “Kennedy High School is currently in lockdown as the result of a bomb threat. MCPD is on scene investigating the validity of this threat. More information will be released as it becomes available.”
