Fifty-Two-Year-Old Man Arrested and Charged for Mail Theft and Destruction of Property

On Tuesday, June 27, 2023, at approximately 11:35 a.m., officers responded to the 1130 block of University Blvd. W. for the report of a vandalism and theft. Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – 4th District Patrol Investigations Unit developed Brigden as the suspect and determined that he broke into several mailboxes and stole mail and then stole multiple packages from the package room at the Warwick Towers Apartments.

On Wednesday, September 20, 2023, officers arrested Brigden on the strength of an arrest warrant. Officers also obtained and executed a search warrant at his home and obtained multiple items of evidentiary value. Bridgen was transported to the Montgomery County Central Processing Unit where he was released on an unsecured personal bond.

Detectives believe there may be additional victims and are asking for anyone with information regarding this crime or the suspects involved to call Crime Solvers of Montgomery County toll-free at 1-866-411-TIPS (8477). A reward of up to $10,000 is being offered for information that leads to the arrest of the suspects.
