Motorcyclist Killed in Collision Sunday Evening

Montgomery County Police is investigating a fatal collision that occurred Sunday evening.  According to police, “At approximately 7:57 p.m., on Sunday, October 1, 2023, officers and Montgomery County Fire Rescue personnel responded to the 12800 block of Veirs Mill Road for the report of a fatal traffic collision involving a motorcycle and a vehicle. The adult male operating the motorcycle was pronounced dead at the scene. The driver of the striking vehicle remained on scene.

The Montgomery County Department of Police – Collision Reconstruction Unit (CRU) is investigating the collision. A news release will be distributed once more information becomes available, including the name of the deceased, following proper notification of next of kin.” We will provide an update when additional information is available.
