UPDATE: Alert Montgomery – Severe Traffic Alert Update: All southbound lanes of I-270 at MD-118 (Germantown Rd) have reopened. Expect residual delays.
A traffic incident has closed all southbound lanes of I-270 at Germantown Road, according to Alert Montgomery.
Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service responded overnight to a reported apartment fire at Village Square Apartments in the 12000 block of Veirs Mill Road, near the intersection of Veirs Mill Rd. And Connecticut Ave., in Silver Spring.
