Montgomery County Police and Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services responded to a collision involving a pedestrian on Wednesday, November 15 in Silver Spring.
According to police, “At approximately 4:05 p.m., MCP officers responded to the area of Manchester Rd. and Schuyler Rd. for the report of a pedestrian that was struck by a vehicle. The preliminary on scene investigation has revealed that a 6-year-old was struck by a Fedex truck. After the collision, the driver of the truck stopped, asked the child if he was ok and left the scene. Moments later, the driver of the truck returned to the scene. The child was transported to an area hospital with minor injuries.”
