Hybrid Community Meeting on Future Improvements to Rosemary Hills-Lyttonsville Local Park  Takes Place Dec. 13

Montgomery Parks invites the public to participate in a hybrid community meeting to discuss proposed renovations to Rosemary Hills-Lyttonsville Local Park.

The meeting will take place in person at Gwendolyn E. Coffield Community Center and via Zoom on Wednesday, December 13, 2023, 7-8:30 p.m. Montgomery Parks staff will present information about the proposed improvements and encourage input and questions from meeting attendees. The intent of the project is to update aging facilities and provide new possibilities for active use at Rosemary Hills-Lyttonsville Local Park by improving existing amenities, adding new amenities, and improving ADA access throughout the park. 

About Rosemary Hills-Lyttonsville Local Park: Rosemary Hills-Lyttonsville Local Park serves a large, diverse population from surrounding neighborhoods and beyond. Through its existing amenities, the park provides opportunities for active recreation, social connection, and enjoyment of nature. Rosemary Hills-Lyttonsville Local Park was originally acquired by M-NCPPC in 1962. The 17.1-acre park currently features two playgrounds, a softball field, a soccer field, two tennis courts and one and a half basketball courts.
