Maryland native and 2016 Springbrook High School graduate, Jacob Webster, was named one of Forbes magazine’s ‘30 under 30‘ in 2023 in the Arts & Style category. He joins Kendall Jenner and others as one of thirty “creating and designing the future of fashion and the arts.”

Webster shared the news via his Instagram, where he also shared old tweets from 2013 and 2015. In 2013, when the was 15, he tweeted “when I turn 18 I’m moving to Michigan and then when I turn 21 I’m moving to Los Angeles.” In 2015, when he was 17, he tweeted, “I’m gonna be a celebrity photographer.” He made it all come true, working with a multitude of stars throughout recent years.

During his sophomore year at Springbrook, a fellow student wrote an article in the school’s newspaper about how Webster turned his hobby into a job when he was just a sophomore. “My favorite part is watching everything come together from start to finish and then seeing everything edited. You get  lots of feedback and responses from people and you get to see how much people really appreciate your work,” he said as a 15 year old. He goes on to explain that he got into the photography when he got his first camera in 2012.

Per Forbes, “Self-taught photographer, Jacob Webster, specializes in beauty and fashion-centric images. He has worked with stars such as Doja Cat, SZA, Keke Palmer, Chloe Bailey, Michael B. Jordan, and others. Intersect Magazine called Webster “your favorite celebrity’s favorite photographer” in 2023.”
