Police Investigating KFC-Taco Bell Drive-Thru Burglary

Per MCPD: “Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – 3rd District Investigative Section are investigating a burglary that occurred on Monday, October 30, 2023, in the 7700 block of Blair Road in Silver Spring (Takoma Park). Detectives have released surveillance video of the male suspect and are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying him.


At approximately 9:09 a.m., 3rd District officers responded to the location for the report of a burglary. The investigation by detectives has revealed that at approximately 5 a.m., an adult male suspect forcibly opened the drive through window of the restaurant, reached in with his arms, stole merchandise and left the scene.

Detectives reviewed the surveillance video of the restaurant and obtained a description of the suspect.  The suspect is described as a Black male, approximately 30-years-old, and wearing a red jacket.
