Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded to a collision on the outer loop of I-495, between Old Georgetown Rd and Rockville Pike at approximately 4:15 on Friday afternoon.
According to MCFRS Chief Spokesperson Pete Piringer, a collision caused one of the vehicles involved to roll over with a person trapped inside. The person was extricated from the rolled over vehicle with priority 2 trauma (serious, but non-life threatening injuries). As of 5pm, some lanes remained blocked.
