Mandi Mediterranean Opens Today

Mandi Mediterranean Bar Grill Lounge is opening today at 4906 St. Elmo Ave. in Bethesda, according to a representative from the restaurant. It is located in the space that was the longtime home of Bangkok Garden, which closed in August 2021 after almost 40 years in business.

The restaurant is described as “an Arabic restaurant that offers a wide variety of Mediterranean appetizers and entrees such as kabobs” on its Facebook page. The menu consists of items like samosas, kibebeh, falafel, hummus, baba ghanouj, shawarma, chicken dishes, lamb dishes, a variety of kabobs, and more.

Hours of operation are Monday-Saturday 11am-10pm, and Sunday from 12pm-10pm, according to the restaurant’s website.
