Four Taken to Hospital Following Monday Night Crash

Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded to a crash on W Diamond Ave and Muddy Branch Rd in Gaithersburg at approximately 7:30pm Monday night.

According to MCFRS Chief Spokesperson Pete Piringer, the crash involved two vehicles with at least one person being initially trapped inside one of the vehicles. The trapped person was extricated by responding crews who evaluated and transported three adults with priority 2 trauma (serious injury) and one adult with priority 3 trauma (non-urgent injury). All four injuries are non-life threatening.
