
Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded to the 16,700blk of Alexander Manor Drive, off Ednor Road in Sandy Spring on Thursday, December 21 for the report of a house fire.
According to Chief Spokesperson for MCFRS Pete Piringer, the fire began in the home’s garage fire and extended to attic. The bulk of the fire has been knocked down and there are no reported injuries. The residents were not home at the time of the fire. Over 60 firefighters responded to the scene.
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation. We will provide an update if additional information becomes available.
