Missing Bethesda Woman Located Deceased; No Foul Play Suspected


In an update by the Montgomery County Police Department it was stated that a missing Bethesda woman, Sarah Hughes, who was last seen on Friday, December 22, was located deceased. According to police, no foul play is suspected. Original missing person report below:

“Detectives from the 2nd District Investigative Section are asking for the public’s assistance in locating Sarah Hughes, a missing 51-year-old woman from Bethesda.

Hughes was last seen on Friday, December 22, 2023, leaving Shady Grove Hospital in the 9900blk of Medical Center Drive in Rockville. She is 5’7″, 140 Ibs., with blonde hair, and blue eyes.

Anyone with information regarding the whereabouts of Sarah Hughes is asked to call the Montgomery County Non-Emergency Number at (301) 279-8000.”
