MCPS is Holding an “On-The-Spot” College Admissions Event on January 11th

High School seniors are invited to participate in the regional “on-the-spot” admissions event on Jan. 11 from 6pm- 8pm at Seneca Valley High School.

Students will have the chance to interview with college representatives and receive an on-the-spot admissions decision. Students may also find out if they are eligible for scholarships. Students are encouraged to register before the event and contact their College Career Information Coordinators (CCICs).

More than 300 students have participated in 471 interviews for on-the-spot admissions opportunities held thus far this year. Student have earned 460 scholarships, totaling nearly $3 million dollars. Participating Colleges and Universities:

  • Coppin State University
  • Heidelberg University
  • Hood College
  • Stevenson University
  • Trinity Washington University
  • Washington Adventist University

Montgomery College will also be on-site to answer questions and assist students with applying to MC.
