
The National Weather Service (NWS) has offered a few updates leading up to the potential winter storm on Saturday.
According to the update, things are expected to get started early to late Saturday morning and “peak” on Saturday afternoon into Saturday night depending on your location. The storm is expected to clear out by Sunday morning.
As of now, the highest chances for travel issues are expected along and west of the I-81/US-15 corridor in Virginia and West Virginia. Moderate to heavy rain is possible along and east of I-95 and all of the area remains under either an “Enhanced Winter Storm Threat” or “Slight Winter Storm Threat” depending on your location.
