The National Weather Service has put out information regarding an impactful storm system that will move through the area Tuesday. Potential impacts:
– Wintry Weather in the mountains (not in or around the metro areas and suburbs)
– Flooding from heavy rainfall
– Coastal Flooding
– River Flooding
– Storm Force Winds over the waters
– Strong Winds over land
According to an update by the NWS, the entire area may see up to 2-3 inches of rain and wind gusts up to 50mph. There is also a Wind Advisory in effect from from 3pm on Tuesday until 1am on Wednesday for much of the DC Metro Area.
