
The Michigan Wolverines are playing the Washington Huskies in the College Football Playoff National Championship game and Michigan has four players from Maryland on its roster, per the school’s athletics website (Washington does not have any players from Maryland). They can be seen below:
Kris Jenkins, Jr. (6-3, 305 DT): Jenkins is from Olney, MD and attended Good Counsel High School. His father is former Maryland defensive tackle and 2X NFL All-Pro, Kris Jenkins. At Michigan:

• Two-time All-Big Ten selection (second team, coaches, 2023; third team, media, 2023; honorable mention, coaches and media, 2022)
• Three-time letterman (2020-21-22)
• Has appeared in 42 career games with 30 starts along the defensive line
Quinten Johnson, Grad student (5-11, 200 DB): Johnson is from Silver Spring and attended St. John’s College High School. At Michigan:
• Three-time Academic All-Big Ten honoree (2020-21-23)
• Three-time letterman (2020-21-22)
Derrick Moore, Soph. (6-3, 258, EDGE): Moore is from Baltimore, MD and attended St. Frances Academy. At Michigan:
• All-Big Ten selection (honorable mention, coaches and media, 2023)
• One-year letter winner (2022)
• Has appeared in 27 games along the defensive line
Josh Wallace, Grad student (6-0, 190, DB): Wallace is from Bowie and attended DeMatha High School. At Michigan:
• All-Big Ten selection (honorable mention, coaches and media, 2023)
• Has appeared in 13 games with nine starts at defensive back
