Two Good Counsel Graduates Taken in 2024 NWSL Draft

Two players who attended high school at Good Counsel in Olney were recently taken in the  2024 NWSL Draft.

Jameese Joseph, who graduated from Good Counsel in 2019 was selected 15th by the Chicago Red Stars. Jameese attended NC State University. While at Good Counsel, she was called up to the US National Team camp in 2016. She played for Bethesda SC and was one of the top scorers in ECNL in 2018. She also led Good Counsel High School with 30 goals her senior year and was selected to the Sixth Annual High School All-American Game in Orlando.

Heather Hinz, who graduated from Good Counsel in 2019 and attended the University of South Carolina, was selected 38th by Houston Dash. While at Good Counsel, she was an All-American, All-Region, Two-time All-Met First Team, All-State First Team, and Three-time All-Conference First Team. Heather was part of ECNL National Qualifier with Bethesda Union and participated in Nationals in San Diego with Bethesda Union.
