Crash on I-270 Involving Several Vehicles and Tractor-Trailer Blocks Lanes Tuesday Morning


Updated to reflect all lanes have reopened 

Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) has responded to a crash on northbound I-270, past exit 9 (I-370 Sam Eig Highway) involving “several vehicles, including a tractor-trailer” at approximately 9:30am Tuesday morning.

According to the Metropolitan Area Transportation Operations Coordination (MATOC) Program, there was a “Multi-Vehicle Crash with Injury. I-270 NB past I-370 (Exit 9). Montgomery County, MD. Incident cleared, and all travel lanes are reopened. There are no delays reported at this time.”
