Four Men Arrested Following Thursday Night Shooting

Per MCPD: Four Virginia men have been arrested following a shooting in downtown Silver Spring.

On Thursday, January 18, 2024, at approximately 10:29 p.m., 3rd District officers proactively patrolling the area of Spring Street and 2nd Avenue, observed suspicious activity between a group of men.

The 3rd District officers radioed information to nearby officers.

The shooter standing outside of the Honda was also arrested and a 9mm privately manufactured firearm used in the shooting was found in his possession.
