MidnighTreats has announced plans to open an “express” location next month in Rockville.
The company sells plant-based cookies that weigh over 1/3 of a pound and flavors include Iced Oatmeal Cookie, Thicc Mint, The Cinna-Roll, and Birthday Bash. The bakery will be operating out of Farmland Commercial Kitchen (11910 Parklawn Dr, Suite #O), the same building that ‘Bao Bei’ operates out of.
The company was founded in 2018 in Vienna, VA as a home-based delivery service, then moved to farmers markets, then into a shared commercial kitchen space in Chantilly, VA. The first official storefront opened in May 2022 in Reston, VA and the company has since opened additional locations in Vienna, VA and Old Town Alexandria, VA.
“In early 2024 we’re going to be opening our first MidnighTreats “Express” location in Rockville Maryland. This express location isn’t going to be a standalone storefront, we will be working from a shared commercial kitchen with other small businesses, but it gives us the opportunity to get into Maryland while working towards a brick and mortar location. Our menu and ordering process will be the same as our other stores featuring our monster cookies, munchie cookies, and oat milk teas available for pickup or delivery. More updates to come!”
