Each year, the Restaurant Association of Maryland (RAM) presents annual awards for various “front of house” and “back of house” positions. This year, Federico Orrego of Mon Ami Gabi is Montgomery County’s only finalist for the ‘Server of the Year’ award.
“Always quick to work extra shifts to help his teammates, Federico has become a true leader for the Mon Ami Gabi team.” Mon Ami Gabi posted in regards to Orrego. He has been a server at Mon Ami Gabi in Bethesda for over 15 years now, and has beeen described as “a true role model to all.”
The awards are for “those who relentlessly prove their skills and dedication to the industry while demonstrating top-notch leadership qualities.” After public nominations, RAM selects five (5) finalists from each category for a public vote. You select the winners. The awards are presented at RAM’s annual gala, which will take place on Sunday, April 14th from 6:00 – 10:00 PM at Maryland Live! Casino.
