On or about February 14, 2024, the Rock Creek Trail will be closed for approximately four weeks at the location of the Purple Line Bridge.
Per Purple Line MD: “This closure is required to allow crews to remove diversion piping, rehabilitate Rock Creek under the bridge, and make repairs to the trail. Work may take place in multiple shifts from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and 5 p.m. to 3 a.m. as needed to complete the work before the spring environmental restrictions take place.
A signed detour has been established around the closed portion of Trail. Please follow all signs and avoid entering into the work zone.”
