
Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded to a call for a a fire on the second floor of a three-story, garden apartment on the 18400 block of Lost Knife Circle in Montgomery Village on Monday afternoon.
According to MCFRS Chief Spokesperson Pete Piringer, responding units found a small fire on the second floor and were able to quickly extinguish it. In a later update, Piringer stated that the fire occurred in a vacant apartment on the first floor. It’s unclear at this moment, whether both floors were involved. There were no injuries and fire investigators are now attempting to determine the cause.
