A Community Meeting on Safety Improvements for the Forest Knolls Elementary School Neighborhood Will be Held on Wednesday, Feb. 21

The Montgomery County Department of Transportation (MCDOT) Safe Routes to School program will hold an in-person meeting on Wednesday, Feb. 21, at 6:30pm to discuss safety improvements in the Forest Knolls Elementary School neighborhood of Northwood Park.

Per the news release: The meeting will be held at Forest Knolls Elementary School, All-Purpose Room, 10830 Eastwood Ave., Silver Spring. The meeting will present the concept designs, discuss study findings, and obtain community comments and gather feedback.

Online registration is voluntary and will allow for updates. Prior to the meeting, the public is encouraged to review the project information available on the project website. Community feedback and comments will become a matter of public record.
