‘Cloppers Barbershop’ to Close After Ten Years in Germantown

Cloppers Barber Shop, located at 18060 Mateny Rd. in Germantown’s Cloppers Mill Village shopping center, will be closing by the end of February.

The barbershop opened approximately ten years ago, taking over a space that was previously a flooring store. Signage at the store redirects customers to the owner’s other barbershop, Traville Barbershop, located at 9729 Traville Gateway Drive in Rockville- (301)251-2891.

“We are sorry to inform you that we will be closing this location by the end of this month. Please feel free to visit our other location, just six miles away from here, where we have nine wonderful barbers.”

The barbershop’s neighbor, La Casita, closed its doors in July. CVS closed its location in the same shopping center last July as well. There is no word on any possible replacements at this time.
