
Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded to the report of a fire in the 10200blk of Parkwood Dr. in Kensington on Thursday, February 21 around 5:40am.
According to Chief Spokesperson for MCFRS Pete Piringer, approximately 55 firefighters responded to the fire, which was located in the basement of a two-story single-family home. All occupants were able to evacuate and were evaluated by EMS. There were no injuries reported and one family has been displaced.
We will provide an update if additional information becomes available.
