Update: Einstein High School has been cleared. Staff and students are returning back to campus. The threat was determined to be not credible.
The Shelter-in-Place at Thomas S. Wootton HS has been lifted as of 10:48 am. 911 emergency services have completed their assessment and deemed this a non-credible threat. Classes and other activities have resumed as planned inside our building.
Per Montgomery County Police: “Wootton High School is in a shelter-in-place and Albert Einstein High School has been evacuated following bomb threats at each school. Updates will be provided as they become available.”

Beginning April 1, The Compass Atelier will no longer be just a single classroom– it will become a Compass Art Center. The Compass Atelier shared an announced on social media that it will be moving into 10335 Kensington Parkway in Kensington.
The Kensington Volunteer Fire Department is once again hosting its Annual Chili Cook-Off on Sunday, March 10th from 11AM through 2PM. This year, the Chili Pickup will again take place in a Drive-Through format. Online preordering is available now, but same day purchasing is also available.
