
Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded to an automatic fire alarm on the 200 block of Market Street W, near Center Point Way (off of Main St.), in Gaithersburg’s Kentlands neighborhood on Saturday morning.
According to MCFRS Chief Spokesperson Pete Piringer, units arrived to find smoke in the building with the sprinkler system activated. The sprinklers contained/extinguished the fire and there were no injuries.
Update – 209 Market St W, Adaptive dispatch for gas leak. @mcfrs encountered fire alarm & smoke w/ activated sprinker. Units found no gas leak, but sprinkler activated for some time unknown in commercial suite 2 doors down from original dispatch. Fire is out, no inj
