Update on No Regrets Pizza

This past summer we reported that signage was up for No Regrets Pizza Co. at 5454 Nicholson Lane, on the lower level of the Harwood Flats apartment building in North Bethesda. We’re now told the restaurant is expected to open this April.

According to the restaurant, “No Regrets Pizza Company will be a “chef-driven” pizzeria, café and cocktail bar. Our ingredients are locally sourced, with an emphasis on ethical farming and organically grown food whenever possible.

We plan to offer two types of pizza; Roman and an Artisanal New York, both use a 72-hour cold fermentation to enhance digestibility and flavor.  Lunch service will be fast-causal offering Roman and New York slices, as well and whole pies. In the evening, the restaurant switches over to full-service wait staff, offering full individual pizzas, home-made pasta, and salads.

In addition the menu has Italian Street sandwiches which use our Roman pizza dough filled with Mortadella, pesto, burrata, olive oil and pistachios. Another features prosciutto, brie cheese spread, fresh sliced pears and fig spread.

Featured pizzas include cup and char New York style pepperoni and chorizo. A mashed potato pizza with asiago cheese, bacon, scallions, and fresh cracked black pepper. A white pizza featuring fresh-sliced pears, blue cheese crumbles, baby arugula and balsamic glaze. Appetizers include home-made meatballs in marinara sauce, a poutine of French fries, gravy, cheese, and scallions.

No Regrets has 30′ bar with a custom-made wenge wood top made by local craftsmen. Our cocktail program will feature hand-crafted cocktails and mocktails.

Desserts include assorted gelato, home-made olive oil cake and cannoli. Our coffee service features Rustic Route Coffee a local roaster from Barnesville and is women owned.

Opening is planned for some time in April. For updates, please follow us on Instagram at @noregretspizza.”
