Police Searching for Suspects Involved in Strong-Arm Robbery at Target

Montgomery County Police are investigating a strong-arm  robbery that occurred last week at the Target in Wheaton Mall.

Per the news release: Detectives from the Montgomery County Department of Police – 4th District Investigative Section are investigating a strong-arm robbery that occurred on Wednesday, February 21, 2024, at the Westfield Wheaton Shopping Center in 11100 block of Viers Milll Road in Wheaton.

The preliminary investigation by detectives has revealed that an adult male victim was in the Target when he was approached by three unknown suspects who demanded personal property from the victim. When the victim refused to comply with the suspect’s demands, the suspects forcibly took the property and left the scene of the incident.

The first suspect is described as a Black male, approximately 14 to 20 years old, wearing a black mask, black jacket with red lining, gray sweatpants and gray shoes.

The second suspect is described as an unknown race male wearing a black mask, black hooded sweatshirt, black pants and black shoes.

The third suspect is described as a Hispanic male with curly hair wearing a black hooded sweatshirt with the words, “Never mind the spider, here’s the slime,” in yellow writing and “Pink,” in pink writing, black jeans and black shoes.
