MCPS Dates to Remember (Spring 2024)

MCPS has a few important dates to remember for its traditional calendar (Arcola Elementary School and Roscoe Nix Elementary School follow the Innovative School Year Calendar). The dates for Spring 2024 can be seen below:

March 25th, 2024: Spring Break–No School For Students And Teachers (ALL SCHOOLS)

March 26th, 2024: Spring Break–No School For Students And Teachers (ALL SCHOOLS)

March 27th, 2024: Systemwide Closure–Schools And Offices Closed (ALL SCHOOLS)

March 28th, 2024: Systemwide Closure–Schools And Offices Closed (ALL SCHOOLS)

March 29th, 2024: Systemwide Closure–Schools And Offices Closed (ALL SCHOOLS)

April 1st, 2024: Holiday–Schools And Offices Closed (ALL SCHOOLS)

April 10th, 2024: Grading And Planning For The End Of Term; No School For Students (ALL SCHOOLS)

April 22nd, 2024: Asynchronous learning day for all students. The day is designated as a professional development day for teachers and possible make-up day for students in the 2023-2024 Traditional School Year Calendar. Students will engage in learning experiences and complete work asynchronously. Additional information here.

May 14th, 2024: Primary Election Day–School And Offices Closed (ALL SCHOOLS)

May 27th, 2024: Memorial Day–Schools And Offices Closed (ALL SCHOOLS)

June 13th, 2024: Last Day Of School For Students; Early Release Day For Students (ALL SCHOOLS)
