Montgomery Parks invites the public to a virtual community meeting about improvements to Sligo Creek Trail adjacent to Colt Terrace Neighborhood Park on March 26, 78:30 p.m.

Proposed improvements include a new hard surface trail connector, removal of an existing dirt path near neighboring homes and stormwater management. The project will also remove a portion of the existing trail to restore sensitive mature upland forest and wetland habitats to a natural condition.

Colt Terrace Neighborhood Park is 3.31 acres and features a playground, and picnic area and is adjacent to an open space for recreation. M-NCPPC acquired the park in 1954. Additional info:
