15 Signal Boxes in Bethesda Selected For Artistic Vinyl Wraps; Artists Wanted

The Bethesda Arts & Entertainment District and Bethesda Urban Partnership are seeking artists for the Signal Box Public Art project. Fifteen signal boxes located throughout downtown Bethesda have been selected for artistic vinyl wraps to adorn the boxes.

Artists must be 14 years of age or older and residents of Washington, D.C., Maryland, or Virginia. The “Paint the Town” is an initiative of the Bethesda Arts & Entertainment District to bring more public art and new murals to downtown Bethesda.

The Bethesda Arts & Entertainment District is currently seeking submissions for the Signal Box Public Art Project. The Request for Proposals application deadline is Monday, April 29, 2024; please also see Attachment A for the Signal Box Measurements. Application to apply.
