Building Evacuated After Possible Nitrogen Leak in Rockville

Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded to 1200blk of Seven Locks Rd. in Rockville on Monday, March 18 for the report of a chemical leak.

According to Chief Spokesperson for MCFRS, a “possible nitrogen leak” was located in a 2nd floor suite of a medical office building. The building was evacuated and there were no reported injuries. The leak has been contained and HazMat/firefighters are now working to ventilate the building.
