Montgomery County Police tweeted the following at 11:12am on Monday, March 18: “All southbound lanes of Darnestown Rd, prior to Key West Ave, near Hunting La, are shut down following a vehicle collision.”
Chief Spokesperson for Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) Pete Piringer reports that the collision involved four vehicles, including one overturned vehicle and one entrapment. EMS is evaluating four patients, all which appear to have non-life threatening injuries.
