Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Services (MCFRS) responded to a vehicle fire that occurred on northbound I-270, north of route 121 near exit 16 at approximately 7pm Friday evening.
According to MCFRS Chief Spokesperson Pete Piringer, an SUV was fully involved upon the arrival of MCFRS units. The fire was extinguished and there are no injuries, however some lanes remain blocked as of 7:15pm.
